Throughout Indonesia

Following up the enactment of Presidential Regulation No. 69 Year 2015 regarding Visa Free visit, asked to you to convey to the Chief Immigration Office in each region regarding the following matters:

1. In a Presidential Decree in question, to 45 (forty five) given facilities Visa Free State Visits with the following explanation:

b. For 15 (fifteen) countries, namely Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines, Chile, Morocco, Peru, Vietnam, Ecuador, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Hong Kong SAR and SAR Morocco with the following provisions:

1) It can make a visit in the framework of the task of governance, education, social culture, tourism, business, family, journalism or stop to continue traveling to other countries;
2) to enter and exit the territory of Indonesia through the entire Immigration Check (TPI) and given stamp entry sign Free Visa for Short;

b. For 30 (thirty) countries, namely the People's Republic of China, Russia, South Korea, Japan, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico, the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Arab , Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and South Africa with the following provisions:

1) Only can make a visit in order to travel;
2) Can be in and out of Indonesian territory through 9 (nine) TPI includes:

a) TPI AIRPORT:
(1) Soekarno-Hatta - Jakarta;
(2) Ngurah Rai - Bali;
(3) Kualanamu - Medan;
(4) Juanda - Surabaya;
(5) Hang Nadim - Batam;

b) TPI SEA PORT
(1) Sri Bintan Pura - Tanjung Pinang;
(2) Batam Center - Batam;
(3) Sekupang - Batam;
(4) Tanjung Uban - Tanjung Uban;

2. While waiting for the procurement stamp entry sign Free Visa for travel specifically, to 30 (thirty) State as mentioned in number 1 (one) b which enter Indonesia using Visa Free admission stamp brief visit by adding the words "TOURISM PURPOSE ONLY "at the top of the cap;

3. Permission to stay for 45 (forty five) the State is to be provided a period of 30 (thirty) days and can not be extended past berlakuna or converted into other residence permit.

ABOUT
FREE VISA
BY THE GRACE OF GOD ALMIGHTY
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

 


Considering:
a. That in order to improve the relations of the Republic of Indonesia with other countries, should be given easy for tourists citizens of certain countries to enter the territory of the Republic of Indonesia which was held in the form of exemption from the obligation to have a visitor's visa with regard to the principle of reciprocity and benefits;
b. That the exemption from the obligation to have a visa for tourists visiting citizens of certain countries are intended to provide benefits in national development in general and the improvement of the economy in particular;
c. That the exemption from the obligation to have a visa for tourists visiting the residents of a particular country as stipulated in Presidential Decree Number 18 Year 2003 regarding Visa Free for Short Visit as amended by Presidential Decree Number 43 Year 2011 regarding the Third Amendment of Presidential Decree No. 18 2003 needs to be adjusted by Act No. 6 of 2011 on Immigration;
d. Based on the considerations referred to in paragraphs a, b, c, it is necessary to stipulate Presidential Regulation of Free Visa for;


Given:
1. Article 4 paragraph (1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945;
2. Law No. 6 of 2011 on Immigration (Institute of the Republic of Indonesia Year 2011 Number 52, Supplement to State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5409);


DECIDED:

REGULATION OF THE PRESIDENT ON FREE VISA.


Chapter 1


In this Presidential Regulation is intended to:
1 Tourists are people who are not citizens of Indonesia.
2. Tourism is travel activities undertaken by tourists to visit certain places for recreational purposes, personal development, or to learn the uniqueness of the visited tourist attraction in the interim period.
3. Territory of the Republic of Indonesia, hereinafter referred Region Indonesia is all around Indonesia as well as certain zones that are applied based on Law No. 6 of 2011 on immigration.
4. Immigration Check Point is the spot checks at seaport, airport border crossings, or elsewhere as the entry and exit region of Indonesia.
5. Visa Republic of Indonesia, hereinafter referred to Visa is a written statement given by the competent authority in the Representation of the Republic of Indonesia or other places that are applied by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, which includes approval for tourists to take a trip to the Territory of Indonesia and the basis for granting the single license.


Chapter 2


Visit Visa freely given to tourists and residents of a particular state government special administrative region of particular countries with regard to the principle of reciprocity and the principle of benefit.


Chapter 3


(1) Tourists citizens of certain countries are exempted from the obligation to possess a Visit Visa to enter Indonesian territory in order to visit Travel.
(2) Tourists citizens of certain countries, as referred to in paragraph (1) may enter into Indonesian territory through Immigration Check-Points.
(3) A list of certain countries and certain Immigration Check referred to in paragraph (1) and (2) are listed in Annex I, which is an integral part of this Presidential Regulation.


Chapter 4


(1) Tourists referred to in Chapter 3 are given permission to stay for a visit most lam period of 30 (thirty) days.
(2) Permission to stay visits referred to in paragraph (1) the validity period can not be extended or converted into any other residence permit.


Chapter 5


In the case of tourists from certain citizens are exempted from the obligation to have a visit visa will stay over a predetermined period of time referred to in Chapter 4 and / or will do an extension in addition to the visit of Tourism, the question may be granted Visa or Visa visit visits arrival in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.


Chapter 6


(1) Tourists citizens of a particular state and government of the special administrative regions of certain countries that have been granted visa-free visits by Presidential Decree No. 18 Year 2003 regarding Visa Free for Short Visit as amended by Presidential Decree Number 43 Year 2011 of the Third Amendment of Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2003 would otherwise remain in force.
(2) Tourists referred to in paragraph (1) shall be exempted from the obligation to have a visa in order to visit the task of government, educational, social, cultural, tourism, business, family, journalism, or stop to go on to another State.
(3) Tourists referred to in paragraph (2) can enter Indonesian territory through the entire Immigration Check.
(4) Tourists referred to in paragraph (3) granted a residence permit for a visit later than 20 (thirty) days and the period of validity can not be extended or converted into any other residence permit.
(5) The list of specific state and government special administrated region specific State referred to in paragraph (1) are listed and inseparable part of this Presidential Regulation.


Chapter 7


Provisions regarding changes to the Immigration Check referred to in Chapter 3 and Chapter 6 set by regulation.


Chapter 8


At the time of this Presidential Regulation comes into force, the Presidential Decree Number 18 Year 2003 regarding Visa Free for Short Visit as amended by Presidential Decree Number 43 Year 2011 regarding the Third Amendment of Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2003, repealed and declared invalid.


Chapter 9


Presidential Regulation comes into force the date of promulgation public cognizance, ordering the promulgation of Presidential Decree shall be published in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
